I think we are in for a rocky ride for a while. What you are seeing today is, IMO, what we saw on September 12, 1987 etc.... panic selling.

Only this time I believe we are in a much stronger environment, particularily compared to 1987.

What was the average PE in 1987 compared to now? (Bet T4P could tell us).

We ahve China and India, which may come back a little if the USA goes into recession, but it will not be fatal.

So my view is that we may not yet have seen the bottom... but the market will come back... it always does.

When greed overtakes fear again the market will turn.
