Why the surprise? Look what happened in August with the first of the sub-prime mortgage corrections. MLS and many other spec stocks went dramatically down. In a climate of fear a stock that is not producing or bringing in an income will drop more than one that is. I still like this company and its prospects but my time scale is 6 to 12 months and beyond: enough time for a increased JORC and good results from Namibia to bring up the sp. And of course, a good time to buy now when the drop has stopped!
