Yes, you could be right, Gold shares tend to lead Gold price though, with a large component being US price which seems to connect most with sentiment and possibly because most(?) Gold is traded on Comex in USD. AUD Gold price does influence, briefly looked at correlation, haven't run any numbers yet but from sight leads by around a month with something like 3:2 USD:AUD link smoothed in med term. Short term, bounce tomorrow? Got me stumped, reckon I need to put that HEG thinking cap on a bit tighter...lol!
