I have played a Yari, cant remember what model it was but I do remember it was well made and sounded good, some years ago now.
I have to say any instrument that is built in Japan is worth buying over most other brands imo.
The Japanese just make them really well, accurate, well finished. Even the cheaper Yamaha's that were made in Japan are good.
My nephew has a cheapish Yamaha and its good.

I have an old Laney Pro tube valve amp 30w output with a big speaker. The CC sounds really great through that amp.
Everyone wants to play the CC when its plugged in. They sound so beautifully acoustic through a good amp.

Taylors are very good too if you are thinking of buying one. Even second hand they demand a good price which is not so for most guitars. Well made, good quality control and sound good but you will pay for it of that Im sure especially if it is made of good wood.

I played an old 1970's Ovation the other week, the one with the rounded bottom made of some type of compound glass fibre.
It sounded very good, crisp clean with a really good tone, a good guitar that never really lasted past the 70's.
