I think most important news that wasn’t contained in previous announcements was on page 4.
The formal manufacturing licence will be issued subject to the submission of various additional documents including a letter of 'No Objection' from the Johor state government.
Subsequent to quarter end, the Company received a letter of 'No Objection' from the Johor State Investment Centre in relation to the formal issuance of the manufacturing licence.
So, another box ticked as per diagram on page 4.
We have been waiting for this letter of 'No Objection' since the 21st February announcement.
Now that we have it, (and we might have received it up to 4 weeks ago), I think it won’t be long now to obtaining the formal manufacturing licence.
Upon issue of the formal manufacturing licence, Altech Malaysia's application for pioneer status (high technology) investment incentive classification will also be confirmed.
This suggests obtaining pioneer status won’t take long once we have the formal manufacturing licence.
