Only Ingram, Dollisson and Borovac left. Dollisson and Ingram have proven in the past they are very good business men and have had very successful careers.
I was always sceptical at Dollisson's motivation for working for LUM. Ingram bought into LUM when it was listed and I believe has always had a geniune interest in being the shareholder of a successful company. Unfortunately has performed dismally and he has taken it upon himself to try and make LUM perform well for himself and the other shareholders - I believe him to be very geniune. As for Wally, he was the well paid accountant and mouthpiece for LUM - it was never his role to stitch up deals and make LUM successful, however, my query has always been, did we need a $200k+ accountant working for LUM when they don't have any significant revenue and never had. I believe this all started when Sam Anderson was employed.
As for the purchase of Vertigo, it is a lesson to be learned by everyone that reads this forum and thread. In this world you CAN'T buy a decent company for $500k AND if the company was performing so well they wouldn't have been selling. I don't believe Vertigo had ever made a profit prior to LUM buying it and the reasons that Vertigo gave for not performing prior to the purchase by LUM were weak as pis*. They blamed terrorism and the world trade centre attacks for downturn in business in the countries they were selling in. C'mon - how much was CCU and other advertising businesses affected by it? Vertigo had been going for you years and never been successful or profitable. LUM had been going for years prior to the purchase of Vertigo and had never been profitable or successful. Why did LUM think that they could buy a shitty debt-ridden company and make it profitable and all for $500k?
