The problem is there are not enough traders/investors to keep an online brokerage going in Australia. I have been booted out of Charles Shwab and one other whose name escapes me and always end up at Commsec. It's a monopoly and that always leads to overcharging and slack service.

I'd love to live in the States just so I could have hungry organisations competing for my business. I notice Andrew West has been taken over by CMC markets who will eventually give it up to Commsec. Round and round we go.

All hotcopperites should stump up 500 bucks and buy our own brokerage firm. How hard can it be for Gods sakes. They put a golf buggy on Mars.

I've heard you can string 3 x-boxes together and have enough computing power to launch a nuclear strike. Perhaps I should donate my x-box to Commsec so they can double their server capacity.
