Full credit to Matthias Corrman for speaking out on this matter given that he could easily have used it to score cheap political points.
That aside, I remain very disappointed that yet again the national interest has been placed a long way behind the personal self-interest of someone who was afforded the privilege of representing Australians in Parliament.
It's yet another example of just how bad our Constitution really is and how important it is that we do not leave its re-invention to politicians.
