I am thinking a deal may already have been done involing all current JV participants (Senegal's Petrosen and Macky included) involving WPL agreeing to buy a farm-down of FAR's SNE holding leaving FAR with 5% and free carry to first oil. WPL and FAR may simply be waiting to see outcome of arbitration to determine if that will be a 40% type farm down or a 10% type farm down (current WI % assumption). If this is not the case then why would Macky bother to have WPL in the room at the project briefing a few days ago (posted by @ksingh)? WPL have completed a $2.5B cap raise rescently (to plough into SNE phase1).
