i'm sure we all enjoy seeing our favourite stock / commodity do well because we like to show off our investment prowess. And unfortunately this topic is correct in the case of gold - it does well because everything else is ugly.
so most people who have invested have done so I hope for the sake of a) protecting your loved ones. Part b) making a windfall profit is a bonus but it will come at a huge expense in the sense that the world as we know it will be turned upside down. All though I'm very long gold, I'm saddened what the immediate future has in front of us.
I don't feel sorry for those who created this situation for gold (including speculative property owners alongside reckless lenders / loose feds etc.). I feel particularly sorry for those who live simple lives and are going to what wonder what the #### has just happened in the next couple of years.
On a bright note, gold keeps the bastards honest.
