I have to somewhat disagree with you on a couple of things you mention. Specifically, that it is a "tarted-up LOI" and the aspects related to share price and a CR.

We have to recognise first that having some decent legal people on the board and as company secretary should lead us to believe that this announcement is not hype. TV2U would be committing a huge mistake they can no longer afford if they made this announcement without substance. TV2U's problem in that case will be with the ASX, and maybe even ASIC, not only its shareholders. It would be suicide, and the legal people know that. I suspect a lot of vetting went into this annoucement. We will see in a few days anyway.

As I stated before, Indosat Ooredoo is a huge deal and TV2U is playing in the big boys league now with a potential even a conservative investor cannot ignore. I can easily forgive them forgetting or delaying SolGo and PGASCOM. Once Indosat is implemented the pressure on TV2U will diminish and, even if not, they will have funds that would allow them to hire some additional resources to go back and focus on SolGo and PGASCOM and whatever other opportunities are there.

Back to the "tarted-up LOI", and to explain why I don't believe it to be so, I would refer you to my post on 29 April at 00:03.

I stated as scenario "3. TV2U is the only platform Indosat is considering and it is facing difficulties delivering WC matches to mobiles through Ooredoo." Based on the TV2U announcement this seems to be the case. Indosat Ooredoo needs a solution for the mobile network, which is what iStream is by the way, and they are asking TV2U to do just that.

Then I stated: "In scenario 3, Indosat will be the one applying pressure on TV2U to deliver and pushing for a contract to be signed. TV2U has another month or so to deliver a fully operational solution software wise. The advertising and promotion are not an issue as Indosat Ooredoo is already advertising the transmission of the WC and targeted promotions can be done in a week or two. The app download to mobile or tablet is immediate." The 2 June date announced fits nicely with and validates that assumption.

I flagged "The only remaining issue is the ordering, delivering and installing of the equipment. I doubt that such equipment has already been ordered or at hand. That could take a long time, unless TV2U figures out an accelerated method or uses its own platform in the interim." Which is exactly what the announcement states. TV2U is providing a White Label solution branded iStream. That means no equipment/software will be installed by Indosat and no staff training is required, they will use the existing TV2U platform and stream through the Indosat network. Indosat being a Telecom, linking the TV2U platform to the Indosat network will not be an issue and may have already been done or well under way.

I concluded "with a bit of goodwill and effort from all parties, they may be able to squeeze it in." I believe that will happen.

To add a little spice to this (which is a humorous opinion, not a known fact) they could be using the PGASCOM equipment for the Indosat launch

To be honest, I am still not all that fussed about the World Cup. It is an issue for Indosat not for TV2U because there will still be life for TV2U after the WC. The fact that Indosat is under pressure made things happen sooner. What matters is how many stable paying customers will remain after the WC. These are the ones that will provide a steady revenue stream for TV2U.

As to when revenues will start coming in, the announcement does not mention anything about a free-trial period, which is common when launching a new OTT product. It would make no sense to offer a free trial period during the WC. Maybe they will skip that part. Would be interesting to see how Indosat Ooredoo position this product and its launch. This is out of TV2U's hands anyway.

As far as the share price is concerned, I would have preferred for TV2U to wait till the agreement is concluded and signed before making an announcement. They must have some good reason to do it in two parts. Those who go only on past experience will see the negative side and those who are hoping for a launch will see a massive boost. Either way, I suspect the share price will remain steady (i.e. within its VWAP) until the signed agreement is announced, maybe even until implementation is completed. That's no big deal really, and the wait will be worth it.

I would dissociate the CR from this announcement or activities with Indosat in general. TV2U needs the money anyway and would have raised a CR no matter what is happening with Indosat (unless they get a significant down payment from Indosat). I don't see any problem with TV2U raising a CR as they would need to ramp up their operation if they are to deal with the potential Indosat represents, as well as complete current projects. Of course TV2U would be in a better position if the deal with Indosat is concluded. My instinct tell me that this would probably be the last CR and that revenues from Indosat in 4Q2018 will allow TV2U to handle any future business opportunities without depending on CRs. Refer to @TBoner's analysis.

Just my opinion, time will tell. Not long to wait now.

"Expected within the next few days" . It's not final and has been made due to SH' pressure. What if we get an announcement on Tuesday saying " There has been a technical hic up" . No wonder the SP is doing nothing, it's dodgy as.

BTW , BE do you have to comment on every single post good and bad? Or is this now your personal web page?
