The votes are telling the story?

Really? I AM a newbie.

I am new to Argosy, new to investing, in fact new to the internet.

I like this company a lot. I am fascinated by it's approach and confidence and dynamic.
I enjoy the enthusiasm of the shareholders on this forum, and the general willingness to share information and help others.

However I do not have either a corporate,financial or investment background in anyway, and would often like to ask a question or two simply to be pointed in the right direction.

There appear to be some real gentleman; some very helpful and courteous people on these forums, with a sincere desire to share.

However, witnessing the nature of interactions here, I am somewhat aware that my unknowingness, naivety or simple desire to learn apparently carries a high risk of being perceived by some in some negative way, no matter how it is expressed.

Which all too often appears to result in some form of response involving ridicule, belittlement and scorn.

It's not pleasant, and the story from the outside can sometimes seem slightly different.

So, as a newbie, trying to find my way in this arena, I once again experience dismay, as I again Witness the phenomenon of seemingly deliberate character assassination, following questions to which I genuinely interested to hear opinions on.

Even if I already know the answers, because there is always something new to learn.

Other's have answered with courtesy and manners, and to them I am grateful for I indeed have again learnt something new.

So in general I don't post, as I would generally personally choose to not have sincerity met with toxicity.

As a newbie, I also observe with interest that the suggestion of a "pack" mentality was met by the immediate assembly of a "pack" of likes to ram an opinion home, and forcibly squash the opinion of another.

Ok. Lol

With wry amusement I note that we are currently teaching a nine-year-old how to deal with this. At school, they call it something different. Whether it's on the internet or in the playground.

This is an acknowledgement to those wonderful people on the Argosy forum who answer questions and opinions with thought and courtesy.

From a newbie, enthusiastic to be part of, and trying to learn, this is actually the story.
