RC is not a legend or a Superman. He pulls his trousers on one leg at a time just like you do.

Let me remind all that RC sought finance everywhere he and the BoD could think of before the aborted takeover and was turned away by everyone. He would have been morally and emotionally exhausted - vulnerable - when Macquarie lobbed their bid. He is probably grateful shareholders knocked it back. He didn't resign, wasn't sacked after this debacle. No one would have thought less of him if he had folded his hand and left - he is wealthy enough to not need the job. All this tells me he remains engaged and willing to see CTP through to worthwhile production and revenues.

I took profits and exited at 19c, reentered at 8c in October and at COB Friday have doubled my money. And no, I am not some quant with insider knowledge and mates in the game. I am simply an investor with an embarrassingly modest portfolio and the same set of facts, playing in the same sharemarket sandpit.

Those nursing losses and resentment need to begin with the perpendicular pronoun "I". You speculated on a little $100m oil company and are down. If you cannot handle this with equanimity (look it up) why were you willing to take the risk in the first place?
