It would depend entirely if the holder is a trader or an investor and whether or not the investor wants to take advantage of the Capital Gains Tax Provision for shares held for more than 12 months.
If lets say an investor didn't held the shares for at the very least the twelve months and the few days necessary to trigger that benefit, the nett price received would be far less than anticipated.
