Coal is filthy deadly stuff as far as most of the Australian public is concerned. So even if it's called BCE or whatever, they're gonna hate this story imo. The company might as well say they're in the tobacco business selling fags to kids as far as the general consensus on coal goes here in Australia. That's only my opinion of course, but geez their seems to be a lot of hostility to company's trading in coal not only in the mainstream press (bar Murdoch's) but even from the big international corporates. As far as I know billions if not trillions of dollars are being pulled out of the coal business all around the world. So I reckon the company's going to have a hard time finding a moderate local pollie of any significance to stand next to them on the MPA signing day. Their best bet is Abbott and his mates in the Monash Forum. They'd be up to it. At least Abbott is honest about his allegience to coal interests whereas Turnbull is just a hypocrite. As for Labor and the Greens ... LOL!

GL this week with the Fake SP. And don't get me wrong, I grew up in the English coal mining communities now defunct. Just saying .... coal is a dirty word and selling the 'transitional' or steel angle in this day and age is no going to be easy. Ten years ago maybe, but not today.
