PP agree, but the issue is that both China and India, to a lesser degree, are essentially export driven economies.
The raw materials that Australia provides supports those exports. If the US and Europe consumers are hit by the credit squeeze then these two emerging economies do not have the consumers to maintain the material imports.
I think that the decoupling argument is not valid.
