MFS hasn't publically stated what either was offered last year, or is on the table now (although presumably the now ones are still under discussion).

However, what they DID say last year was that they did not sell not because they couldn't, but because they felt there was more value to MFS shareholders by maintaining 100% ownership. The clear inferance was there was an opportunity but in the directors or boards opinion it wasn't worth putting to shareholders.

All we know is what they felt the business was worth. If there was not an offer for that amount then, there definitely won;t be now.
