help i did something really stupid with bhp

Hello - I am new to this forum and have done something so dumb its not funny.

I did something really stupid on Friday (yes I am a jubie). I wanted to buy 5,500 dollars of BHP. By accident, in comsec, i bought 55,000 dollars worth. (didnt check before I clicked and didnt realise until after trading stopped and had a small heart attack when I saw it).

I rang comsec as I have no-where near that money in my bank account and wont be able to sell until this morning - They said it will be ok if I sell today; as it will be treated as the same day trade (I hope he is right - as not sure what happens when it goes to take out the additional 45,000 I dont have in my account). Yikessss

Now I am sitting here waiting for 10 am - I hope to high hell it has not dropped over the weekend (can it do that? assume it can as its an international stock??) I am thinking of selling all but the 10 K i have in my bank account and hope I dont loose too much. I think is a good stock to hold - so hope it will go up.

Any idea ofwhere this stock will go today. I checked CNN stocks and it seems its gone up 1.3 %. Will we follow the US more likely or the asian markets which i think did qite badly.

I really need to learn more!!!!! Thanks for any advice
