Yeah my initial reaction to the fall in revenue was that traffic guard was working too well, however that means there was an enormous amount of fraud going on as a proportion of overall installs. In review I dont think that it is all traffic guard however it could certainly be a significant part of the problem. I made a bit of a list of possibilities in my correspondence with the company:
- Supply partners are already on other advertising platforms and not willing to switch to Mpire network
- Traffic guard works too well and suppliers see it easier to generating revenue elsewhere without this hurdle
- Too much competition for high quality supply partners
- Traffic guard identifying possible fraudulent actors and TMP categorising them as low quality supply partners and TMP choosing to no longer work with them (working to strategy)
- Not enough staff internally to TMP to develop enough high quality supply leads
- Not enough staff with the right “connections” to get quality supply leads.
