ASX Listing Rules - Guidance Note 12 - Section 2.4:
"For clarity and ease of application by listed entities, ASX has adopted 25% as an appropriate benchmark for determining whether or not a transaction involves a significant change to the scale of an entity's activities that require notification under Listing Rule 11.1. This is also helpful to ASX in ensuring that transactions of a certain size that might also lead to a significant change in the nature of an entity's activities are notified to ASX under Listing Rule 11.1"
To me this means, the announcement we will see should have an impact to the MC of AT LEAST 25% if not more.

You have misinterpreted this.
The ASX don't know how much an announcement will affect a MC.
It's to do with the activities of the company.
They were 100% mineral exploration.
Will the new transaction mean they are now 40% medical marijuana?
That would be more than the 25% allowable .
