Check out a 'Request for 249D(2)(b) General Meeting'. This approach is being tried by Eddie Smith (ITC Chairman) on VPE. The requirement is for 5% of shareholders to support such a meeting. At the meeting it would be possible to remove the existing Directors and nominate new ones. Obviously this would reqire having suitable candidates lined up for the positions in advance of the meeting.
