As perverse as this may sound, I believe L1/CS may have done a number of holders - myself included - a huge favour. This favour? Education.
I'm still relatively new at the share market, having only been actively participating for about 5 years. I've never seen a game like this before at close range. It's been highly educational, and some of the lessons learned may even help me with future buying and selling decisions. Even if I can't apply any of these lessons directly, it's still interesting nonetheless.
Granted, there's an argument that suggests that the more painful lessons are the ones that stick (and I don't think this will be a particularly painful lesson). However, it solidifies my own belief that the way to succeed is to try and find the crumbs before the big boys find the cake.
