...One good thing about this last correction is that many of the amateurs would now be "flushed" out because they would have borrowed too much money and would have been forced to sell at the bottom as per usual.

...I say this because most of the trades recently have been small

...Quite a few would have probably had a huge position in only one stock so any downturn could have amplified their losses...

...I remember a poster called "bill b" quite a few years back now and by all accounts he had his life savings in a company called Nylex and he rode that company down to the basement losing most of his money in the process and never omitting he was wrong and that the company was a "dog"

...There was a poster back then called "Ocker" who repetitively explained and backed up with facts to bill b why nylex was on a major downtrend and not likely to change from that trend

...So bill b would have gone down with the "ship" as they say

...I am pretty sure "Ocker" is now the moderator who keeps a good eye on posts on CVI

...So whats this got to do with CVI?

...The "dweeb" investor normally looks at only the one big play that is going to make him or her rich with a minimum effort on their behalf.

...So all their money goes on that one big play

...And CVI is one company that could fulfil that dream with its future potential

...But the road to the summit can be a really rough ride at times with many hills and valleys on the way...

...So when their car breaks down it is usually at the bottom of a valley and at a start of a hill...

...And they have no money set aside to fix it

...So the "dweeb" has to abandon the car and hich hike the rest of the way to the summit............
