SB2000, once most of this subprime is locked into long term contracts, at rates that can be repayed, then people won't lose their homes and more houses that won't be dumped onto the market. This should stabilse the US housing market .. over time. Will need something special to get the US housing market moving higher though.

The market crash and falling home prices should test to see whether US consumers can cover their debts .. a recession and growing unemployment might be the catalyst.
