From the quarterly:
"As the details released by the Minister in relation to these new taxes are very limited, the Company is unable
to adequately assess the impact of these taxes if they were implemented. Furthermore, the Company has
signed a Development Agreement with the Government of the Republic of Zambia on December 16, 2005
which includes a 10 year stability period amongst other fiscal incentives. This Agreement is binding on all
parties and Equinox will continue to act in accordance with this agreement."
