A number of miners / explorers provide weekly updates on drill programs. This takes away a little bit of the mystique but it also removes a lot of concern, assumptions, worry about delays and general guessing or hyping.
It usually results in a steadier ship between major results or similar announcements.
AVZ have the best deposit on the planet but we only ever get large updates with lots of time in between.
After twittergate, we should be focusing on keeping the market informed on a constant basis. Short 2 paragraph updates are often well received and adequate.
- Drill rig 3 onsite and expecting to start in 4 hours, will be drilling in 24 hrs 7 days across 2 shifts
- Delay in rig 4, expected to be onsite on Friday
- Cores dispatched to lab today, expecting 1-2 weeks for results but subject to waiting list
- Had bad coffee onsite this morning, Nespresso machines ordered, 15% productivity gain expected but not guaranteed
