need help ....home page and spyware, page-11

Looks like a weekend job.

If you have any more ideas i would appreciate it.

I even tried a system restore.

However, it wouldn't go back far enough.

This sucks....

I decided to open up the About Blank to see if there was any address behind it. A new page opened up in "Notepad" of all things. It had and that was all.

So far I have tried System Restore - Ad/Remove Programs - Change settings in my Toolbar - Tried to get into the Microsoft Free software, but it keeps redirecting me to other websites.

Anyway i will try some more things and see how i go.

Just wondering. If i were to uninstall IE and install Firefox would that make a difference?

I have had a look on Nortons security section for locking the homepage. However, i can't seem to locate where i can do that.

Anyway, i will see how i go playing around with it tonight.
