Thank you for one of the more constructive posts of late.

Thank you also to bliimp for raising the issues in the first place and in the process, underlining that which Smyth has been screaming at all and sundry for months now...that we are only as strong as our partners...and out contacts.

Smyth has managed to place CVI in an enviable position...and whilst any prospective suitor would be foolish to move in now, for obvious reason, none less than rocking the speedboat...I do suspect at some point down the track, when all is done and dusted and CVI have become a growing Australian/Angolan joint powerhouse, one would have to expect they would be a prime acquisition target for any number of majors wanting in to West Africa.

The BHP links are already strong...I suspect the Chinese would be sniffing around too.

Anyway...thanks all for a good thread...so nice to be dweeb free on CVI lately.
