I only hit stocks like this with my trading account, the dollar value of which more or less stays at the same level...every time the balance builds above my cut off level, I divert the excess into my longer term plays, such as CVI.

At times however, what starts out as a trade only can become a risidual hold should fundamentals dictate.

MEO may well fit into that category, depending on both the outcome of recent drilling and of course, the success or otherwise at Blackwood.
