I agree with 2 things you said. 1/ You do not have a clue where the support level lies. 2/ "There are others in the game that will know where these stops are set and will manipulate the SP to trigger these stops". This would be your brokers and the reason I never set stops.
People should be very cautious of others talking it up when so much uncertainty surrounds it. It is not being sold off for no reason.
