I's not the declining performance of the business that has caused a free-fall in the price, but a lack of confidence in management. For example, I live in an upmarket high rise and have been a Telstra customer for 30 years. I assumed my building that comprises about 70 units was connected to the NBN. When I phoned Telstra to ask them to connect me to the NBN they told me the building was not yet connected. However, TPG advised that their cables were connected and asked me if I would like to subscribe to their service. I cancelled my Telstra subscription and signed up with TPG. I have since discovered that other Telstra customers in my building have done likewise. The day I signed up with TPG was the same day that I sold my entire Telstra holding. If management was not aware that providing access to multi unit dwellings by laying a single cable from the street to the building should be a priority, then it would be better if management was paid to stay away from the business.
