a few thoughts.......there is a percentage of people who are quite happy to rent all their lives, they dont like the idea of ownership.........just wonder how many are on these threads ??? they have had the opportunity to buy, but they don't, always waiting for the prices to drop, or is it really an excuse as to why you have not bought and never intend to, in europe its the norm to rent, home ownership is not such an issue there

...........also a chart from 1926 showing houses versus stocks............they both ended up at the same level................a lot of you are shouting that property is too high.........well the same argument can be said for shares............we are all paying the cost of interest rate rises.......
some are acting gleeful, happy at the idea that some people will be stressed out and lose their homes........what you dont know anyone that is a homebuyer in your circle of friends ???? or are you happy to think real estate price will drop.........will your shares drop too ???

and the idea that negative gearing should be scrapped, should the same be said for investors in the stock market ?? not allowed to claim the interest expense....

I wonder how many of you are actual home owners with some idea of the costs and expenses associated with it.........

its been the mantra for a long time for investors to spread the risk, cash 30%, property 30% and shares 30% and 10 % other........
