Just to correct you on one thing, the casing strings run all the way back to the surface, thus the 9 5/8" casing runs from 4100m back to the top, so the hole has one internal diameter (approx 8.6") for all of that section, the previous casing sections are behind the 9 5/8". Then there is the 8 1/2" open hole section below. The open hole section has a slotted liner suspended from the bottom of the 9 5/8" casing, this is the only point at which there is a diameter change.

Hopefully by tomorrow we should see the suspension plug retrieved and reset. If all goes well, no big deal. However hiccups can occur but as I've often said, they have an excellent team.
