Just playing Devil's advocate here, but it may not have been communicated effectively that 7 days mentioned in the announcement is actually 7 business days. They say the finalities are expected to be completed by Thursday the 17th, but that doesn't say an announcement will be released on Thursday the 17th. Perhaps the drafting of the release will not be for another business day. I don't think this is the case, but I'm trying to reduce the hysteria around this announcement and putting forth that we may not have an answer today or even early tomorrow. Keep in mind that your emotion will not bring this announcement any faster.
