I don't know why I am going to weigh into this conversation but it seems I can't stop myself.
Has anyone thought that maybe these directors are human. Maybe when Meir made that comment about not worrying about SP he showed some inexperience about the shares game? After all the ASX came looking for early stage tech companies like SAS. He is inexperienced in the matter of public companies and the demand that "part owners" have on public companies.
Or maybe it shows that he is focused on the business long term. Short term SP movements are not his concern. He is the business man.
Where as Brett is the money man. He has finance hat on, he has his investment firms throwing in money. He has his fingers in many pies (companies), he has the responsibility of raising further funds. So his comments may show more concern for the SP.
Maybe it is up to Brett, as the ASX guiding figure, to convince/pressurize Meir to release a company update of short term targets, why those targets are important and how to measure those targets. That way it more closely aligns the message coming from the board and will stop the constant bombardment of emails from impatient long term holders.
Just some thoughts.
