2 full trading days is normal. It's just that it has been called after trading as opposed to the normal pre-trade plus the weekend that makes it seems long.
That said, the results could issue tomorrow or Monday instead of Tuesday morning.
So, "an announcement regarding the drill results from its Ned’s Creek tenements"
