What will be absolutely certain is that SAS will never be able to be useful in areas that are already served by terrestrial network. It needs reminding that no one really knows how limited in capability the nanosats would be. Is it going to be 2g? 3g? 4g? What is it? I think it is safe to assume that the constellation is going to be severely limited in capability.

Understanding all that what SAS is left with are those people living without electricity and mud huts. How good of a customer do you think those people living in mud huts? They obviously are not profitable at all and that is precisely why they are not connected in the first place. If they are not seen as profitable by ISPs and mobile providers then who would be hiring SAS satellites?

No one is going to bother to offer services to people who would only be loss making customers.

To me there is a severe lack of logic in the business model and everytime I ask this question no one seems able to offer any counter argument without degenerating into name callings. I think deep down everyone knows that what I am saying is true.
