Yes, I brushed over some facts.

In my estimation, she has an excuse in the facts of the recent past; the very same BN party approved the tragic Mitsubishi Rare Earth plant. The result was she could not AND SHOULD NOT trust the government to tell the truth or properly serve her people. She had to obtain verification. So, she found (or was approached by) "experts" sympathetic to her beliefs, a very common mistake. Bias among scientists is a real problem and quite often linked to political bias.

What part of the fight in her was motivated by getting the truth and protecting her people? What part was greed for power? I don't know, but based on current data (a few well-measured comments) and current situation (her in power, Lynas in community), I think i am justifiably encouraged.

I also think this public forum is not a smart place to be so damn disrespectful. I'm all for giving her a second chance here. She did win. She does have the people on her side. Better friend than foe.
