Hi Anton, nothing too fancy here mate, just a dummy portfolio but using real stock prices.. (better than a standard watchlist I think, at least you can track each companies performance over time). So just like a real trading account/portfolio... Here's the blurb I posted here last week when I posted a heap of different portfolios for the first time... I thought I'd repost all these portfolios each quarter......I hope this makes sense

    Explanation:
All portfolios were started on the 2/1/2018, if you see another date it means the company was added after the 2/1/2018 for any number of reasons

All cost of trades are approx. $1000 for consistency

Some companies appear with a zero cost basis, my thinking is they were under .001 at the time, more likely .0005 and this system appears to give them a zero
(I have requested a response from VectorVest as to what is going on)

All companies are listed in order of % gains since inception

The Yellow line across the performance chart is the amount invested

Please let me know of any changes or additions. If at any time we feel that a portfolio should be sorted into its own category please let me know. For example…. Bio/ Pharma/ Scientific could be turned into 2 or 3 separate portfolios or Coal could be separated into 3 Coking/ Metallurgical/ Thermal and so on.

Happy to take other requests as time permits
Thank you, good luck with your trading and good health

The system I use to create these Portfolio’s is Vector Vest

… all pretty self-explanatory, Value implies as to whether the share price is under or overvalued, so A2M and friends below are all valued higher than their share price, this is good…EY is earnings yield and DY is Dividend Yield… I’m always looking for a higher EY than DY. Higher earnings means the company can actually afford to pay for the dividends from its earnings rather than those companies that resort to other means to pay dividends like loans and Con notes etc
