Run and identify your sound card. It will also tell you if you are missing any MS updates etc.
Then re-install or update the driver. (control panel, system, hardware, device manager, then right click the sound card, update driver, search the web). Or go to the sound card manufacturer's site.
If this fails, check that your speakers are plugged in (last resort only).
I would happily log on to yours and have a play but yours has an uncleaned grub, and there are enough of those in my life at the moment ;)
