I tend to agree on the extension.

Most holders with any experience on markets will wait to see it if an extension is requested, Thursday 24^thMay or Friday 25^thMay would be my prime suspects for both extension and bid unconditional, even with a take-up much greater than the 50% as I expect. The last extension was taken a full week and two weekends before close, so similar again should not surprise.

Most holders would be fully aware of the timing and should know nothing much useful can accrue to them for going earlier and why of course acceptances tend to come in that last period.
