Hmmm..
I don't want to say it, but... the company it would seem, has still not quite learned how to under-promise and over deliver in all things.
Yes, they are under budget and ahead of schedule, but.... I had a thought in the back of my mind when I first read this announcement, that it was perhaps a little foolhardy to promise an exact time-frame for the first gold pour. Yes, the announcement may come out 2 minutes after I post this, but... they said 10 days, and that meant the 18/19th of May.
Just a small thing like missing exact timelines can affect how the market views a company.
i.e. NST does not provide exact timelines for things, instead, quite general, but... they have to date, almost always hit their overall targets. GCY needs to learn this.
Perhaps this will be the only slip up and all will be forgotten and forgiven, but GCY makes up a large part of my portfolio. They have said to me personally that they want to emulate the likes of RRL, well... lets see it.
