I think that's a good point Phil - I look at my watchlist and most of the spec stocks just keep on drifting lower and lower at the moment. It's a tough gig for the pure spec play in this market environment.

However, CVN is transitioning away from being a pure spec play into a solid producer. So in the same way a lack of news and stagnant productivity hurt CVN recently, the current increasing bopd via infrastructure and NSE drilling (likely leading to inreased production) should see CVN being targeted as a stock increasing numbers of people will be comfortable parking their cash in. I guess I'm saying that the company is increasing de-risking as time goes by.

Tell you what though, I'm a bit surprised by the muted response to today's ann. It would surely take a very conservative/cynical person to suggest that NSE being given a green light to go into full field production wont lead to SIGNIFICANTLY higher flows, leading to a significantly higher SP?? I thought the market would be all over it..... but looks like it may take Hartleys and Fat Prophets to point out the obvious...
