i doubt there will be any widespread carnage on the asx.

i know i am starting to yawn when i hear of the doom coming from analysts re the US recession etc.

perhaps others are starting to yawn also.

asia is still growing and will be motivated to do what is required to bridge the gap and become the leading economies. US problems is asias opportunity.

the yanks would love to drag other economies (particularly china) down with them but it wont happen this time.

Have you actually looked at Chinas figures and where their growth is actually coming from?

You are in for a rude awakening mate and while China won't go into an actual recession, they will probably look at a halving of their GDP which will have massive consequences for them.

Anyway, don't want to derail the thread any further but couldn't stop myself as some of the rubbish that is sprouted about China and decoupling is laughable at best.

Great stock BMN, but a lot of sp weakness to come due to the state of the markets.
