So they announce a sweetheart deal without any analysis of the more viable options and then they will do and due diligence - morons!!!!!

Here let me have a go -

"The govt announces it will make available $450m to be used to help ensure the protection of the Great Barrier Reef.

The govt will seek expressions of interest from organisations best placed to achieve significant outcomes for the reef.

Any EoI will be subject to rigorous assessment process to led by an independent panel which will focus only on those programs that are designed to deliver the best outcome for the reef."
