I thought that I'd start a new thread to discuss this. There's been debate about this on the other threads and I think it's important to explain why buying on the market is important.
The reason that I argue that buying on the market is important is because there are only a few hundred thousand shares that need to be bought to get AHZ above 30c. This would cost less than $100,000.
If AHZ goes > 30c, the SPP will be a success and the company will collect $5m.
If AHZ remains < 30c, the SPP will probably not be filled and the company will not collect $5m.
This is why I argue that if a shareholder really wants to support AHZ then they should support the market price. A few hundred thousand dollars spent now will result in millions that the company might not get if AHZ stays < 30c.
