News: SRX Sirtex Responds To Varian Release On CDH's Competing Bid, page-11

After more years than I would like to count I have finally bitten the bullet and taken what is on offer on market today. This could drag on for quite some time and who knows what opportunities would have been lost waiting for a possible couple of extra $'s.

The final tipping point was the update that came with last nights announcement indicating that sales are struggling more than most would like, so with the business declining, rather than going gangbusters, which may have been a stimulus for a higher bid it, was time to go.

There have been many great posters on SRX for a good many years who were always willing to bring their technical knowledge to the threads for others and the general good common sense posts that helped see through the chaff from time to time. It will be sad when the SRX thread no longer exists.
