On the agenda for Wednesday is a government report on productivity due out before the market open. Investors will also take in earnings from media giant Time Warner (TWX, Fortune 500), which is also the owner of CNNMoney.com.
Stocks to watch include Walt Disney (DIS, Fortune 500), which posted upbeat earnings late Tuesday. The media and entertainment company's quarterly results topped Wall Street's forecast. Shares gained 5% in after-hours trading.
