It is all very well to project PE's, but no one knows what earnings will be ahead.
Why did BHP fall to $31 in Jan? Was it because when markets fall hard, people sell what is easy to sell.
Markets aren't rational when big bears arrive.
Sure, when they turn up then the good stuff show their true colours.
In a bull market the crap rises with the cream.
In a bear market even the cream turns sour.
