Hi Steve
I have absolutely no interest, nor is it any of my business, why any investor makes their investment decisions - there's too many variables in each individual case - it could be a simple as a nagging spouse.
I follow a whole bunch of other stocks on a daily basis - including some 'darlings' which are generally mostly stable - but just about all of are down big-time right now taking fairly substantial SP hits over the last few days.
I'm guessing there's a whole bunch of factors affecting SPs going on we can never imagine from Donald Trump to China and everything in between and, then, that it's tax-planning time in Aus.
I'm just curious why VTG SP has been on a steady decline since end of January - just before Divi-time - and the need for it to be underwritten in full despite the seemingly-positive upgrade to the guidance.
Maybe it's because of the perceived alliance with the basket-case Telstra seems to be right now.
Who knows.
My point is, how can any investor make any informed decision when there's no information available and wouldn't such a significant hit to a share price, at the same time as a major investor seems to be bailing out despite incurring such a significant loss warrant some kind of comment from 'management'?
Probably I'm just dreamin' - but lack of adequate disclosure to shareholders can be a costly experience these days.
